# Bastion

> Bastion keeps leakers, cheaters and scammers out of your Discord. A shared blacklist, honeypot channels, member verification and five escalating actions you control from one dashboard.

Bastion is a moderation platform for Discord communities built around games. It combines a shared blacklist of known leakers, cheaters, scammers and resellers with honeypot channels, and lets every server decide for itself how hard to respond.

It consists of a Discord bot (moderation and enforcement), a web dashboard for server owners, an account page for listed users, and a staff panel where the Bastion team curates the list.

## Modules

### Blacklist

A shared database of leakers, cheaters, scammers and resellers, maintained by Bastion staff with evidence.

- Instant check on every join
- Flag queue: acts on accounts that are already in your server
- Periodic sweep of all members
- Filter by category and minimum severity
- Per-server whitelist for exceptions
- Optional DM to the flagged user with a link to their evidence

### Honeypot

A bait channel nobody should post in. Self-bots, spam raids and rule breakers trip it on their own.

- Any channel becomes the trap
- Message deleted before anyone sees it
- Exempt roles for your staff
- Separate action from the blacklist module
- Message content saved in the log
- Set up in one command or from the dashboard

### Verification

Members verify with one click through Discord. Bastion checks their account and every server they are in, then hands out your role.

- Verify button posted in any channel
- Login through Discord, nothing else is read
- Blocks blacklisted accounts automatically
- Detects members of blacklisted servers
- Your choice of action for those members
- Results in your log channel

## Moderation actions

- Notify only: Post a report in the log channel. The member is not touched.
- Kick: Remove the member from the server. They can rejoin with a new invite.
- Timeout: Mute the member for a set number of minutes. They stay in the server but cannot talk.
- Softban: Ban, purge the last 7 days of their messages, then unban immediately. Cleans up, does not lock out.
- Permanent ban: Ban the member and purge their recent messages. They cannot come back until unbanned.
